The European Commission issued directive 2003/89 / EC, implemented in Italy with Legislative Decree 114/2006 which amended Legislative Decree 109/92 (prepared on the basis of the indications of EC REG. 1169/2011 and subsequent amendments) with the aim of guaranteeing citizens, especially those with known sensitivity to food components or additives, the right to more detailed information on the content of food by introducing a positive list of substances considered "allergenic" to be declared compulsorily (on the label) , if they are present in a food product.
Therefore, the MICHI & LA MANTIA SNC company has prepared documentation adequate to current legislation, reporting the 14 substances considered allergens contained in its food preparations, easily accessible and available to the customer (an information sign has been affixed to the sales counter). Each food preparation will be transcribed on the card and indicated the allergenic substance present inside it.
The document will be updated every time a new product is added to the sale, (see attached sheet).

The substances considered "allergens" in the legislation entered into force are the following:

4. Fish and derived products;
5. Peanuts and derived products;
6. Milk and derived products (including lactose);
7. Nuts i.e. almonds (Amigdalus communis L.), hazelnuts (Corylus avellana), common walnuts (Juglans regia), cashew nuts (anacardium storico), pecans (Carya illinoensis (Wangenh) K. Koch), walnuts Brazil (Bertholletia excelsa), pistachios (Pistacia vera), Queensland nuts (Macadamia ternifolia) and derived products;
8. Molluscs and shellfish-based products;
9. Mustard and derived products;
10. Soy and derived products;
11. Celery and derived products;
12. Sulfur dioxide and sulphites in concentrations higher than 10 mg / kg or 10 mg1;
13. Lupine and lupine-based products;
14. Sesame seeds and derived products.
